Dear CLGE Delegates,

The European Council of Geodetic Surveyors will gather from 6 to 7 May 2011 in Opatija (Croatia). Our General Assembly is coming closer and therefore I have the pleasure, together with our Croatian Colleagues and Friends, to invite you to attend this promising meeting. I hope that most of you will take part and urge you to register soon if it's not done yet. I would of course be enchanted if some potential incoming members could join us in Opatija, as we will present the draft CLGE strategy and the related working plan 2011-2012, there's no doubt that our discussions will be very interesting. Moreover, I am convinced that the topics we will treat as well as the way in which we will handle them will trigger a very significant meeting.

I've had the occasion to visit Opatija in the past and I can assure you that it is a charming town on a beautiful coast, justifying the journey on its own. Hence, there's really no reason to come without your partner.

Dear Colleagues, dear Friends

We are very happy that the Croatian Chamber of Chartered Geodetic Engineers has an opportunity to host the CLGE General Assembly in the beautiful town of Opatija at the Adriatic coast. We especially welcome those who will visit Croatia for the first time, hoping that they will come again and we are asking you, if your obligations permit so, to stay longer in Croatia unofficially after the CLGE General Assembly meeting ends.

DEAR COLLEAGUES, DEAR FRIENDS AND DEAR GUESTS,

I am very honored and pleased to greet you in the name of the Organizational Board of the Croatian Chamber of Chartered Geodetic Engineers that will host the CLGE General Assembly in Opatija in May this year.

I invite you to the CLGE General Assembly in Opatija, one of the most beautiful places at the Adriatic Sea.

I hope, we shall gather, exchange and present much useful information and data, scientific, professional and economic guidelines at lectures, working sections and in our discussions that will help all of us in our daily jobs.

I am looking forward to holding this meeting in a working and friendly atmosphere, it will be my pleasure to greet the dear guests from whole Europe and our CLGE new members.

I am certain that our General Assembly will be successful and pleasant socializing of all colleagues and friends and we shall relax and rest by taking walks along our beautiful sea, through the parks of the Town of Opatija and on pleasant excursions.
